AUSTRALIAN COUNTRY EXPERIENCE

A friendly Australian family offers a unique Australian country/beach/city tour experience, where you as our guest will participate in the daily life of a typical Australian family that lives in North East Victoria, in a stunning mountainous bush setting.


We have designed four different tours which will give you a unique insight into some of the best parts of Victoria and show you many highlights of this beautiful land that are not common tourist locations. Our property is located about one hour drive from Melbourne, in a beautiful part of Victoria, surrounded by hundreds of square miles of State Park forest. Our house is located just outside the small town of Taggerty, at the foot of Mt. Cathedral, where native animals like kangaroos, wombats and many native birds and plants are plenteous and commonly seen. You will live in comfortable cabins, at the Taggerty Caravan Park, which is stationed right at the banks of the Acheron river. You will also travel and stay in many other locations.


When we are not out guiding you to see beautiful places, you will have a chance to sit by the water with a cup of tea and have a BBQ dinner with us under the southern starlight, warmed by a night fire. You will be captivated by the sound of the forest. The kookaburras, the deer, the frogs and possums. No noises from the road or from neighbours will remind you of your bustling everyday life as we are quite remote.


If you are not able to speak English well, there is nothing to worry about, as both your hosts David and Claudia speak enough Chinese to communicate with you, as both have lived and studied the language in China for some time.


It will be our pleasure to be your tour guides and get to know you over the duration of your stay in Australia.

Children 16 years and younger are half price. Children under 4 are 60% off.

FOR ALL ADVENTURE TOUS

Children are welcome. Children under 4 years old get a 50 percent discount ; Children between 5 to 16 years old get a 40 percent discount.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS & ALLERGIES

We will supply 3 meals per day. However, in case you want to go to a restaurant or cafe for a meal, this will be at your own expense. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please state so at check out. We will make every endeavour to cater for your needs.
